What is IV Guard?
IV Guard is a disposable medical device that can be used to protect intravenous (i/v) infusions in hospitals, nursing homes, ambulances, home i/v infusions, surgical centers or where ever i/v infusions are conducted.

What does it do?
IV Guard prevents infiltration of i/v infusions, it protects and helps to maintain i/v infusions for as long as one wants it to last. IV Guard is a dependable companion for i/v infusions anywhere.

Is it reusable?
No. IV Guard is disposable after one patient use.
IV Guard comes in two sizes. Children between 2 and 12 can use the smaller size. A larger adult size is available for use in older people.

Is IV Guard considered a restraint?
No IV Guard does not restrict mobility of any joint and the one without a key is free to be removed by the patient if he/she wants to.

Does Insurance pay for my IV Guard?
Yes! Your insurance will pay for your IV Guard.
Except Medicare; all other insurance will pay for your IV Guard. The code to bill for IV Guard is E 1399. The amount of reimbursement may vary.
